Overview
A comprehensive professional workshop for aspiring fashion and talent agents. Learn talent scouting, contract negotiations, database systems, live casting submissions, and the commission-driven business of representing models and actors.
Curriculum
- 01
Live Scouting & Talent Vetting (10 Hours)
Students scout live showcases or digital channels, build a pitch deck for top candidates, and present them to a panel of active agents for approval.

Live Breakdown Submissions (10 Hours)
Working inside mock or active software (Actors Access / Casting Networks) to pitch talent for real-world commercial and theatrical breakdowns.
- 03
Shadowing & Live Negotiations (10 Hours)
Sit in on real or simulated high-stakes phone/Zoom negotiations with production companies and casting directors.
- 04
Agency Practicum / Externship (10 Hours)
Partner with an active boutique modeling/talent agency where students run actual administrative or client management tasks under supervision.
- 05
Interactive Lectures & Case Studies (16 Hours)
Deep dives into Union contracts, deal memos, talent packaging, commission structures, and crisis management roleplay.
You graduate with
- Certificate of completion
- 40 hours of logged hands-on experience (scouting, submissions, shadowing, externship)
- Portfolio of pitch decks and mock casting submissions
- Potential employment with Canadian Fashion Academy after graduation and 10+ commissions on represented talent
